SOUTH SIDE SINGLE

Tony Russ – When you’ve been writing music for 40 years you have a vast experience that spans decades of musical knowledge. Some songs remain in your head just dying to surface and play to the world. South side is that type of song. It’s about my earlier years when I lived on the North Side of town but my girl friend, Donna, lived on the South side. I walked to her house whenever I could and it was about 4 miles away. This of course was before I got my license to drive. I had great memories of Donna and her family who treated me like one of their own.
